Formerly known as “Gilda's Club”, this organization provides an emotional and social support community for people with cancer and their family and friends.
This organization serves as a financial, emotional, educational and medical resource for children with cancer and their families at every stage of their illness and recovery. In the United States, this is accomplished by easing the financial burdens that accompany major illness; giving crucial support and comfort; and addressing the challenges of survivorship. Abroad, by providing lifesaving pharmaceutical drugs, medical supplies and equipment to facilities treating children with cancer.
This organization provides free educational, recreational and social programs to children facing medical challenges and their families.
