POETIC partners

POETIC member institutions serve a geographically and ethnically diverse patient population within the United States and Canada, and treat approximately 2,000 newly diagnosed and more than 400 relapsed/refractory pediatric and young adult cancer patients each year.

The investigative teams at each of the POETIC member institutions have expertise in the conduct of pediatric Phase I and II trials. Each of the institutions is an academic center and/or comprehensive cancer center that has extensive facilities and research teams including investigators, research nurses and data managers to support its clinical research activities for children. Each investigator is required to have completed HIPAA Certification, Human Subjects Certification, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) Certification, and protocol compliance training.
